PulseCanvas Studio

Choose a music video export format.

Choose the shape and resolution for your music video. PulseCanvas Studio exports an H.264 MP4 with stereo AAC audio; every export is free.

Choose the canvas shape first

Open Project settings in the app toolbar. Choose 16:9 wide, 4:3 landscape, 3:4 portrait, 9:16 phone, or square. Match the shape to where you plan to show the video, then preview the composition in that shape.

Vertical 9:16 is a useful starting point for phone viewing, while 16:9 gives a wide composition for landscape screens. Square keeps the framing balanced. These are composition choices, not guarantees that a platform will accept a particular file.

Know the exact export dimensions

The resolution setting controls the shorter edge. Here are the resulting pixel dimensions for each canvas shape:

Choose 24, 30, or 60 fps

Frame rate determines how many frames the app renders for each second of the video. Choose 24, 30, or 60 fps. Sixty frames per second gives more temporal detail for fast movement; it also means rendering more frames than 30 fps for the same song.

Use 1080 as a practical starting resolution while you check a composition. Choose the 4K setting when you need more detail and have time to render the larger output. The progress bar and time estimate reflect the measured rendering rate during export.

Save the file with your soundtrack

Choose Save video, then select the filename and folder in the native destination picker. Exports include the full soundtrack, even if you are previewing a loop. The output uses H.264 video and stereo AAC audio at 192 kbps in an MP4 file.

Rendering and adding the soundtrack appear as separate stages. After the Video saved message, use Show in Finder to find the finished file. You can cancel rendering; a completed video replaces the selected destination only after rendering and adding the soundtrack succeed.

Upload the finished file yourself

You can upload the exported file to services such as TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. PulseCanvas Studio does not upload directly to social networks. Check the destination’s current size, duration, codec, resolution, and frame-rate requirements before your final export.
